Please answer a few questions to help us determine your eligibility.
1. Use Your my Social Security Account
The fastest and most convenient way to check your SSDI payment status is through your my Social Security account at www.ssa.gov/myaccount. After logging in, you can:
- See your upcoming payment date
- Confirm payment amounts
- Review your payment history
- Update direct deposit information if needed

2. Check Your Bank Account or Direct Express Card
If you receive SSDI through direct deposit:
- Log in to your online banking app or call your bank to see if the payment has been deposited
- If you use a Direct Express debit card, call the number on the back of your card or log in to your Direct Express online account to check your balance
3. Call the Social Security Administration
You can call SSA’s toll-free number at 1-800-772-1213 (TTY 1-800-325-0778) to check your payment status. Representatives are available:
